Copyright Policy

Creators keep ownership of everything they upload. By posting to COOLM you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, encode, watermark, display and promote that content inside COOLM and in COOLM marketing of the platform. The licence ends when you delete the content, apart from copies already downloaded or shared by others.

Every video uploaded to COOLM is automatically watermarked with the COOLM wordmark and the creator's handle, and the same mark is applied to generated thumbnails. Removing, cropping out, obscuring or forging a COOLM watermark — or reposting someone else's watermarked content as your own — is a breach of this policy.

Tracks in the COOLM music library may be used inside COOLM videos under the licence tier shown on each track. Commercial, advertising or off-platform use requires the appropriate paid licence. Uploading commercial music you do not control is not allowed and may result in muted audio or removal.

• Re-uploading another creator's video, stream, podcast or movie.
• Using film, TV, sports or music you have no rights to.
• Using someone's logo, artwork, likeness or brand to imply endorsement.
• Selling store products that use artwork you do not own.

Send a notice to copyright@coolm.online including: your full name and contact details, the work being infringed, a link to the COOLM post or stream, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised, a statement that the information is accurate, and your electronic signature. Complete notices are actioned within 48 hours.

If your content was removed in error you may reply to the removal notice with a counter-notice explaining your rights or licence. Content is restored where the claim cannot be substantiated. You can track outcomes under Safety & controls.

Strikes stay on an account for 12 months. Three valid strikes disable monetisation and live streaming; further strikes result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of unpaid balances tied to infringing earnings.
